Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the CVParse API and associated services ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you agree on behalf of that organization.

2. Service Description

CVParse provides an AI-powered API for extracting structured data from resume/CV documents. The Service processes uploaded PDF and DOCX files and returns structured JSON data containing candidate information.

3. Account & API Keys

You must register an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys and are liable for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) upload malicious files; (c) attempt to reverse-engineer the extraction models; (d) exceed your plan's rate limits through circumvention; (e) resell API access without authorization.

5. Data Processing

Uploaded documents are processed in memory and deleted after extraction (within 1 hour by default). Parsed results are stored in your account until you delete them. We do not use your data to train our models without explicit consent.

6. Subscription & Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds for partial months.

7. Service Level Agreement

We target 99.9% uptime for Professional and Enterprise plans. The Starter (free) plan has no uptime guarantee. Scheduled maintenance windows are communicated 48 hours in advance.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is." We do not guarantee 100% extraction accuracy. CVParse shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time, which will remove all stored data including parsed results.
